Today's Daily Action is to call your Senator at (844) 241-1141 and tell them to start from scratch on healthcare - new bill, new process. Some Republicans in the Senate have claimed they are opposed to that terrible bill that passed in the House - find out if your senator is one of them.
Plenty of Democrats have complained that McConnell won't work with Democrats on this bill - if your Senator is a Democrat, find out if they are working on their own proposal or if they have joined a bipartisan group to work on this.

For all the talk about the Senate being more responsible than the House, it sure looks like the same madness is playing out again: small Republican group is writing the bill behind closed doors, no public hearings are being held, and Democrats have no alternative to present in response to the terrible option given by the Republicans. This is bad for all of us and the only way we get a better outcome is if we put pressure on both sides of the aisle, not just one.
